Bike Info

CC:

Bike Description:
The First of the Liquid Cooled GSXRs came out in 1992.It was however overshadowed that year by the all new Honda CBR900RR Fireblade. The Blade completely rewrote the rule book as the old Gixxer in 1985 had done. 1000cc type power in a 600cc size bike was the Blades ace up the sleeve. Not until 1996 with the advent of the Gsxr750WT did the Suzuki range of SuperSports bikes again have a competitive bike that could cut it both on the Street and also the track. With the WT the Gixxer range now had an alloy beam frame, liquid cooling and the same size and silhouette as Kevin Schwantzs 500cc World Championship winning machine of 1993.
